Today we are driving through Masaya up to the Volcano. The market in Masaya is almost empty, in contrast to it's usual crowds of tourists in previous years.

On the way down we visited a village in which most houses are garden nurseries. We see a lot of plants which are indoor houseplants at home. Presumably imported from Central America.
