Spring Mill State Park:  A pioneer community resurrected by bringing in log buildings from other parts of Indiana and putting them on original remaining foundations.  The mill is still run by water power brought in by flume from nearby hills.  Every hour, water flow is directed over the water wheel by persons dressed in period costumes to restart the grinding.  There are restorations of a general store--everything is for sale--and a pharmacy, as well as various craftpersons-reenactors all who are there on Fridays.

Today's tour will be short for early return to French Lick or other area attractions ..
